Located in James G. McMynn park (735 Seventh Ave, across from the Midway Community Centre) and opened in July 2024, the Kettle Spray Park is Midway’s newest recreational feature.  Perfect for those hot summer days to cool down, the spray park features multiple fixtures that will cool down patrons of all ages.

The Park Enhancement Project involved the construction of a splash pad and washrooms at the James G. McMynn Village Park.  This project was made possible through the BC Development Fund, Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sports, the Splash Park Committee and the Village of Midway.

Along with the spray park come much needed washroom facilities in the park.  A water fountain can also be found at the washroom building.

The spray park is operational from 10:00am to 9:00pm and the washrooms will be available from 8:00am to 10:00pm.  *subject to change with the seasons*

A list of the spray park rules can be found below.

A closing date in the fall is to be determined and will likely depend on weather and temperature trends.  To ensure longevity to the equipment, the spray park will need to be completely drained before temperatures reach freezing levels.
