Where are you located?

We are located at 661 Eighth Ave. Midway, BC

 

What are your hours of operation?

The Village Office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - Noon, closed for lunch, 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm. The office is closed on all stat holidays and unless otherwise posted.

 

Do you have the phone number for a specific business in Midway?

All businesses that have a valid business licence in the Village of Midway are listed in our Business Directory. All other businessess can probably be found in the phone book.

 

When are Council meetings?

Council meetings are the first and third Mondays of every month. If the Monday is a holiday then the meeting will be on Tuesday. For the most up-to-date meeting information, including when agendas close, please refer to the Minutes and Newsletters page.

 

Is there are copy of the New Village Brand Standards?

Yes, to receive a digital copy please email midwayreception@shaw.ca with your request.

 

Do I need an appointment to write my Learner's test?

No, but because it takes time to set-up first-time drivers, and because we like to ensure everyone has sufficient time to complete the test, we do require you to be in our office no later than 10:30 am or 3:15 pm. All minors require the signature of a parent to guardian prior to writing any test.

 

Do you accept debit and credit cards?

No and Yes. For Village transactions (taxes, burning permits, dog licences, etc.) we can only accept cash, cheque, or debit cards. For ICBC and MVB transactions we can accept debit, credit, cash, or cheque (please note that all debts must be paid by guaranteed funds).
