At the regular Council meeting held on October 21, 2024 the Village of Midway Council adopted the Village of Midway Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan is a guiding document that reflects the goals, priorities and objectives of the Village of Midway. The plan focuses on four main strategic priorities to guide us through to 2027:
- Proactive Land Use/Housing Diversity
- Economic Health
- Organization Excellence
- Quality of Life
The plan will help Council and staff map out how to make decisions, allocate resources and prioritize projects over the next three years. Tracey Lorenson from Civil Excellence facilitated a Strategic Planning workshop to assist Council with developing the Plan. It will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that priorities are kept on track, and review whether any changes or updates are needed.
